Eligibility
Criteria:-
Posts are to be
filled by direct recruitment of Apprentices through selection of candidates
holding National Apprenticeship Certificate(NAC) in the relevant trade issued
by the National Council of Vocational Training. Other qualifications being
equal, preference will be given to ex-apprentices of Dockyard Apprentice School
of the Indian Navy.
Essential
Qualifications:-
(a)
Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Institute or Board with knowledge of
English.
(b) Should have
complete apprenticeship training in the trade (or) Mechanic or
equivalent with
two years regular service in the appropriate Technical Branch of the Army, Navy
and Air force.
Age
For Direct Recruitment/ Age Relaxations:-
Between 18 and
25 Years, applicable to both direct recruits and ex-Naval
apprentices with
relaxation as under:-
(a) Relaxable
for Government servants upto thirty five years in accordance with
instructions or
orders issued by Central Government from time to time.
(b) Relaxable by
03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC/ST, 10 years for PHC
candidates
against reserved vacancies.
(c) Relaxable to
apprentices to the extent of the period for which the apprentices
had undergone
training
Note:- The age
limit will be calculated as on the closing date for submission of online recruitment
applications on the web site
Selection
Process:-
All eligible
candidates, whose applications are registered online, will be short listed for
a written examination consisting of objective type questions prepared based on
the syllabus of the relevant discipline and at the discretion of the competent
authority. Selection of candidates will be purely based on the performance in the
Written Test and the Merit List drawn category wise thereof.
Guidelines
for Filling Online Application:-
(a) Eligible applicants are
required to apply through 'On-line
application Format' available on ND(MBI) recruitment website www.godiwadabhartee.com .
(b) No application through other mode will be
accepted. No Original documents are required to be sent to Naval Dockyard,
Mumbai along with the application.
(c) Before registering/submitting
applications on the website the candidates
should possess the following:-
(i) Valid
E-Mail ID:- The e-mail ID entered in the online application
form should remain active until the
recruitment process is completed.
No change in the e-mail ID will be
allowed once entered. After receipt/acceptance
of application, intimation about date, time and venue for written examination
will be intimated to candidates by e-mail or Admit card or website www.godiwadabhartee.com
(ii) Photograph:- While applying On-line, candidates should keep
the
scanned copy of their latest passport
size colour photograph and their
signature in digital format (.jpg or jpeg file only, each less than 50
kb size) for uploading with application.
(d) After
applying online, candidates who fulfil all eligibility criteria will be able to
download the registration/application form generated by the system with unique registration
number. The same is to be retained for future reference and
ONE COPY OF REGISTRATION/APPLICATION
FORM AND ADMIT CARD IS TO BE BROUGHT AT THE VENUE OF EXAMINATION ALONGWITH
FOLLOWING CERTIFICATES / TESTIMONIALS
