ARMY RECRUITMENT RALLY AT KERALA : 19 MAY TO 30 MAY 2014

An open recruitment rally is being organized under the aegis of Thiruvananthapuram and Calicut army recruiting office. Volunteers should be UNMARRIED if below 21 years of age.Candidates below the age of 18 have to submit an Affidavit.The format for Affidavit is given below.

Physical Fitness Test

Candidates are advised to prepare themselves for under mentioned physical tests:- (a) 1.6 Kms Run: Pass up to 6 Minutes 20 Seconds ( 6 min for general duty ), Excellent 5 minutes and 40 seconds. (b) Pull Ups: Minimum Pass number 6 and maximum 10 for getting highest marks. (c) Balance: Walk on Zig Zag balance. Successful walking will be declared as pass. (d) 9 ft. ditch: Jumping of 9 ft. ditch. Successful jumping across will be declared pass.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

a) SSLC, 12th/PUC, ITI, VHSC and Higher Education Certificate in original. (b) ITI certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training will only be eligible. (c) Fifteen copies of latest passport size colour photographs. (Polaroid camera photos and computer photos will not be accepted). (d) Nativity/ permanent resident certificate and caste certificate from Nemmadi Kendra /Tahsildar/ Deputy Commissioner in ORIGINAL in English. Full name and designation of the officer issuing certificate must be legibly recorded. (e) Character certificate with official stamp duly signed by the Village Sarpanch/Headmaster/Principal of a recognized school/College (where the candidate is presently studying)/Local Police Station will be acceptable. This certificate will be valid for six months from the date of issue. (f) Relationship certificates from respective Record Offices mentioning date of birth and Part II Order No in case of sons of ex-servicemen, serving personnel and war widows. The certificate should be signed by an officer of the concerned Record Office indicating the officer’s Personnel No, Rank, Name and appointment. (g) NCC certificates in ORIGINAL in case of NCC candidates. (h) Candidates between 17 ½ to 18 years. Affidavit on Rs 10/- Non Judicial Stamp Paper in English from parents and Notary as per preformat given below. (j) Certificate of “BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMMER” issued by DOEACC Society if applicable. (k) Volunteers should be UNMARRIED if below 21 years of age. (l) Sports certificate should be from Govt Federations /SAI /University and should be within 2 years from the date of screening. (m) three Xerox copies of all above documents required duly attested. (n) All signatures in respective documents will have full name, designation of the officer signing along with date as well as the official round stamp in English/Hindi. (o) Army being a Central Government organization, all documents are required either in Hindi or English language, at the time of enrolment.
