NHPC : TRAINEE ENGINEERS 2014

National Hydroelectric Power Corporation ( NHPC)  invited applications from eligible engineering graduates for the post of trainee engineers in 180 vacancies. Only eligible Indian nationals are eligible to apply. Those who obtained an engineering degree in civil ,electrical and mechanical standards can apply for the post. Selection is based on the score of GATE – 2014.GATE score of 2013 or prior is not valid. Applicants are highly advised to study  the official notification.

IMPORTANT DATES
a.	Commencement of online registration of application by candidates in NHPC.	07.01.2014 (Thursday) 1200 hours
b.	Last date for online registration by candidates in NHPC	21.01.2014 ( Wednesday) midnight
c.	Receipt of filled in application forms along with testimonials on or before	05.02.2014 (Wednesday)

Selection process :- Candidates shall be short listed out of the candidates registered with NHPC as per merit based on the GATE – 2014 marks and will be provisionally extended ‘’offer of appointment’’ on provisional basis.

Candidates are required to appear for GATE – 2014 paper as detailed below:

How to apply:-

1. Only candidates have registered with GATE – 2014 with valid GATE registration number can register online for the above vacancies in NHPC website http://www.nhpcindia.com/career.htm against advertisement NO.NH/RECTT/01/2013
2. Read the instruction carefully and fill in the online  application form giving accurate information including the GATE – 2014 registration number. After filling it, system will generate a unique registration number of NHPC. candidates should keep ready scanned copies of their  certificates in separate file given in step no.4 under head steps for applying of less than 100 KB each jpeg/pdf format ,along with passport size colour photograph and signature in jpeg format of less than 15 kb size respectively.
3. Candidates can visit the online registrations site from 1200 hours of 07.01.2014 to midnight of 21.01.2014.

Steps for applying:-

Step – 1: log on to www.nhpcindia.com & click on career with us.

Step – 2: Read all the instructions given on the website.

Step – 3: Fill the online application form with relevant details and submit.

Step – 4: Scanned copies of the following documents should be kept ready by the candidate     before applying online registration for attachment :

(a)  Matriculation / secondary school certificate as proof of date of birth.

(b) Complete set of mark sheets / certificates in support of qualification.

(c)  Caste certificate in format prescribed by the government of India in case of OBC candidates, the community certificate should have been issued within 6 months for OBC (if applicable) at the time of registration.

(d) Disability certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable).

(e)  Certificate from the principal, university/institution from where they have obtained the bachelor degree state that the certificate has passed the course on full time / regular basis ( except AMIE).

(f)   A certificate for conversion of grades / CGPA to percentage of marks shall be based on the procedure certified by the university / institution from where they have obtained the bachelor of degree.

(g)  Copy of the GATE – 2014 registration slip

Step – 5: Take out the print of the registration form generated by the system, in duplicate with unique registration number.

Step – 6: The candidate should send in an envelope duly signed printout of registration form generated after online registration with properly affixed and self-attested photograph ( same photograph which was used for scan)along with self-attested photocopies of the documents mentioned at step no.4.

Step – 7: The envelope should be super scribed with GATE registration no.,

advertisement no., post applied for and category (gen. /OBC /SC/ ST /PwD ),

as the case may be, and should be sent by ordinary post (since post box does not accept mail through registered post / courier ) to

 “Post Box No.364 at Amar Nagar Post Office Post Office , Faridabad – 121003           ( Haryana )”

               

  and should reach on or before  05.02.2014.

Application registered with invalid GATE registration number / without/ incomplete documents attached and sent by post as mentioned above shall be summarily rejected.

Candidate can retain his /her unique registration number for further reference
