224 ADVANCE BASE ORDNANCE DEPOT, invited applications from Indian candidates for the posts of MASDOOR, FIREMAN , CIVIL MOTOR DRIVER (CMD), WELDER AND  EQUIPMENT BOOT REPAIR (EBR) in a total of 54 vacancies. Selection is strictly based on Medical Examination, Practical/Physical Test, Written Test and  Interview. The selected candidates will be on probation for two years.

(v) Endurance Test:-
a) Carrying a man (Firemen lift of 63.5 Kg) to a distance of 183 metres within 96 sec.
b) Clearing 2. 7 metres wide ditch
landing on both feet (long jump).
c) Climbing 3 metres vertical rope
using hands and feet .

Age (On Last Day Of Receipt Of Applications):-
(i) Gen/Un-reserved -18 to 25 Years
(ii) Other Backward Class (OBC)- 18 to 28 Years
(iii) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe -18 to 30 Years
(iv) Ex-Serviceman -Age limit as per above category + 03 years and service rendered in Defence.
(v) Meritorious Sportsman - Relaxed by 05 years of above age.
Note:- Crucial date for determining the age limit will be the last date of receipt application form i.e. 08 Feb 2ol4

HOW TO APPLY :- format of APPLICATION FORM AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT/ADMISSION CARD is given in the advertisement. Applicants have to fill both and affix One latest passport  size photograph  on application form and on the admission card duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.

1)  Attach following documents with the application:-

(a) One 12 x 18 ems envelope affixed with Rs. 25/- postage stamp should be attached along with the form with applicant's postal address. (Quoting of Postal Index Number (PIN) is Mandatory).

(b) Following photocopies of the certificate duly attested (DON'T FORWARD ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES):-
(i) Age proof, photocopies of Secondary/ Sr. Hr. Secondary certificate or school leaving certificate.
(ii) OBC/SC/ST/ESM certificate issued by competent authorities. (Distt Collector/Tehsildar/Zila Sainik Board). Games/Sports Certificate awarded by the specified authority for meritorious sports person.
(iii) OBC Caste Certificate only accepted which is issued under Central  Government Reservation authority.
(iv) Copy of employment exchange registration No. if available.
(v) Residential Address proof.
(vi) Any other important documents/relevant in support  of  information furnished in the application form.
(vii) Any variation in the data written by the applicant in the application form with the attached documents and failure to meet the requirements given above will make the applicant liable for rejection.

2)  No application will be accepted by hand in the Unit. All applications will  be accepted through post.

3)  Unit will not be responsible to pay any compensation in case of injury/death of a  candidate during and after physical tests and also reserve the right of rescheduling  the date of tests/interview due to Strike/Bandh/Curfew/Protests etc.

4)  Candidate should submit his application form duly completed in all respect to  COMMANDANT, 224 ADVANCE BASE ORDNANCE DEPOT, C/O 56 APO by 08 Feb 2014 closing hours. Application forms received after 08 Feb 2014 will be rejected. Application form should be sent only through registered post. Date and time for Exam/Interview will be intimated to the individual by post.

5)  Applicant should write name of the post and category on the top of the envelope i.e., Gen/SC/ST/OBC/ESM/meritorious sportsperson/ and Mazdoor/ Firemen/weldor/ CMD/ EBR.

6)  If call letter has not been received by an applicant then it is likely that his application has been rejected for reasons such as application not received / late received or lost in post and no correspondence in this connection will be entertained.

7)  No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the test/interview .the candidates themselves will make arrangement for boarding and lodging.
